    1. Thanks Poly! My entire day feels off if I don’t first take time to get calm and be thankful. What about you? 🙂

  1. Perfect timing! My three focuses for Janurary were 1) Cultivate a nourishing morning routine 2) Minimize time wasting on Facebook and the excuses that come with it 3) “Don’t Shrink”, a concept I got from Danielle DeLaporte. This DMOO came at the ideal moment for me. Let me ask you- what do you do when something throws you out of alignment with your routine? Example: I had an injury late last week and have been recovering since, and my routine is all messed up. I can’t return to it till I’m healed. How do you bounce back from that? Rob and I are looking forward to next weeks lunch date!

    1. I love those 3 focuses for January.. they’re similar to some of mine that I’ve been leaning towards, as well! (love Danielle DeLaporte.. “Don’t Shrink” is always something I keep in mind in times of anxiety or fear) I’m glad this video was so perfectly timed! Something I work on in my morning meditation is trying to get clear on a schedule for the LifefireTV content.. I love that the universe brought this together for us at this time!

When something throws me out of alignment I make sure to get calm and immediately reevaluate. Life happens and having a back up plan or go-to method is a must! See the situation for what it is (no matter how hectic) delegate some of your morning items to the evening i.e. exercise. I also try to multitask my morning routine. I’ll drink that glass of water while being in gratitude, try to do some light meditation while showering, and then look forward to an evening fitness routine. When times of injury come, it can be taxing. Try to do what you can to stay in the mental and physical mindset – if you leg is hurt, work on arms or abs. Try light yoga, always make sure to keep stretching daily! When it’s time to kick it back up make sure you’re ready for the ‘ease period.” it’ll take a good 3 days to get back to your old self. It’s never fun to get thrown off, but knowing it will happen from time to time, and having a plan of action (and being mentally prepared) is a must 🙂

      Can’t wait for next week!
