When talking to people about perfectionism I often times get, “Well I’m not that A-type of a personality. I wouldn’t say I’m a Perfectionist.” I understand that some of us were the class clown, the artsy one, the one one that just wanted to get on with life! But that doesn’t discount that we all have that desire to be fully accepted.
Guess what comes along with that.. the thought that once you’re good or perfect enough you’ll suddenly achieve what you want. It’s hard wired into us as humans and it’s up to us to realize this, take a step back, and embrace the uniqueness about ourselves. We are all individually and differently qualified to lead our own paths.. why try to spend time becoming someone else?
Ask Yourself This:
What do I love? What makes me truly happy?
You’re bound to come up with some reoccurring passions! Live those out with everything you have and remember that the qualities you think are your worst, are oftentimes your best!
