Kundalini for Kindergartners – Websters says: “Energy that lies dormant at the base of the spine until it is activated, as by the practice of yoga, and channeled upward through the chakras in the process of spiritual perfection.” And while this is true.. Kundalini is so much more! To put it in Laymans terms, Kundalini is the yoga of these times and it helps us find our true self.
It is about tuning in. Tuning in to God, our source to the purest form of ourselves.
Kundalini is a chant, or a breathing method, a stretching of the body.. and definitely the mind and soul! Within this practice we look towards the masters, and eventually discover that the master is inside.

One of the things, most of us are put off by, is the sound of our own voice.
Here is a method Marcia has used to help love herself fully:
Tape yourself for 30 minutes, talking about yourself.. nothing mean! Just go on and on about the many great qualities your have. I know 30 minutes is a long time, you can even bring up how rockin’ your spaghetti sauce is! Then listen to it twice a day for 30 days and you will go through a whole gamut of emotions, and eventually realize that after awhile you don’t hear yourself, you just hear God. The barriers eventually break down. Remember, the divine is not going to use any other voice but your own.
As I mentioned earlier, Kundalini is good for depression, sadness, addiction and more. It helps raise you all the way up! Often times we feel shame, and you know what shame does? It keeps us in darkness.. which is exactly what Kundalini should be used for! At it’s core, Kundalini is light, it’s consciousness, and it wants to illuminate.
Learn how to eradicate your ego! The ego doesn’t enjoy unconditional love, because if we have that we don’t need the ego. The ego thrives on fear, shame and depression. To beat the ego (which may even be a daily battle) practice the Breath of Fire exercise (demonstrated in the video by Vanessa & Marcia)
I hope you take the time to get your Kundalini on and embrace your spiritual side! Kundalini will lift you up, relieve your stress, beat disease, and fill you with peace/ love/ joy/ happiness and more!
