A tiskit a tasket a fruit and veggie basket

Step 1. Find a basket that you like. If your like me you will have a variety of decorative baskets in your closet or garage. if you don’t have one ion hand head to Pier One  Imports,Ross, or even the 99 cent store to pick up an inexpensive basket.

Step 2. Go to your local farmers market or grocery store and pick up your desired fruits and veggies.  When deciding on the particular produce that you will use don’t be afraid to choose a fruit or vegetable that you might not know exactly what to do with.Think coconut or a unique squash.this will add a little mystic to the basket. look for a variety of colors in your veggies and fruit to make your basket as vibrant as possible!

Step 3. build your basket the day that you will be delivering it.  Now the fun begins!  Arrange the fruit and veggies so that look  pleasing to the eye.

step 4. you get a bonus gold star for doing this (optional step) that I just think will take your basket to a whole new level!

print out or hand write a favorite recipe using at least one of the ingredients in your basket.

For example you might share your favorite banana bread recipe or your favorite smoothie recipe that includes…kale…yes, I said kale !

Step 5. attach the recipe to the handle of the basket with a nice piece of ribbon.

Step 6.  Get your butt out the door and deliver this vibrant basket of love and goodness!
