Who says you can’t have a delicious and creamy smoothie during the winter season? Hold on to your holiday hat coz you’re in for a merry and jolly ride!
The Winter Pear Smoothie is perfect for any celebration, especially this Christmas! It will not only create a festive mood, but will definitely impress guests and be the star of the party! Take pleasure in a Christmas taste with a fat-free and guilt-free plant-based concoction.
You won’t be able to get enough of this cool weather smoothie as it provides an exquisite combination of flavors. It’s so simple and quick as it only contains several healthy sugar-free ingredients. This vibrant smoothie blends the delicious sweetness of fruits and the nutrient packed spinach. Speaking of its health benefits, allow me to provide you some information on why eating pears is good for us….

Winter Pear Smoothie
Ingredients:
2 cups spinach
2 cups of almond milk or soymilk
4 pears (I like using frozen)
1 frozen banana
1 tsp ground flax
1tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp of turmeric
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to your blender and mix until creamy. For a thicker smoothie, feel free to add ice.
2. Pour into a glass, serve as your all time holiday smoothie, and garnish with a little bit of cinnamon if you like! =)
