A Heavenly Homemade Hummus!
A unique twist of plant-based perfection in a tangy, creamy, rich yet light on the tongue Caper Hummus! Homemade hummus recipe, made with a salty yet delicious kick of capers!
The capers perfectly compliment the rich garbanzo beans, and there’s a hint of garlicky goodness, which I believe, everything a hummus should be!
I guarantee that this Caper Hummus would make pretty much any vegetable disappear on your table with its smooth texture and unbelievable luscious flavor. Truly, a complete family fun food! Plus it can also serve as an all time lunch-packable, because this recipe is so easy and simple to do!
Now, let’s talk about the health factor of this recipe. The garbanzo beans are high in iron, which is necessary for making healthy red blood cells, and they provide folate, a B vitamin essential for preventing neural tube defects. They also have magnesium, which is necessary for normal muscle function, and zinc, which supports a strong immune system. Caper Hummus
Ingredients:
2 15 oz cans of garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
3 tbsp capers
2 cloves of garlic
sea salt, to taste
½ cup of filtered water
Instructions:
1. Put all the ingredients in the blender adding water until creamy
2. Serve and enjoy!
