How to freeze your bananas
One of the simplest tricks to creating a delicious and healthy frozen dessert or smoothie is to use frozen bananas as your base for your frozen treats! I personally buy several bunches of bananas per week and freeze them to use in our morning smoothies or night time desserts. I have found that frozen bananas have such a delicious creamy consistency. Traditional dairy ice creams are not only negative health promoting, but they are also full of fat and sugars that add on extra weight to our bodies, clog our arteries, make our kids a little extra hyper (thanks to the added sugars) and of course I would be remiss to not mention the lovely gas and bloating that is often felt after consuming dairy milk products. We almost all lose our ability to break down lactose in dairy after the age of two.
By using frozen bananas and a little of your favorite non dairy plant milk, you can create a tasty treat with glowing nutrients and none of the negative side effects of dairy ice creams.

Thanks for the banana freezing tip! I was freezing them unpealed and it was hard to get the peal off.
