It really is interesting to hear my daughter Bianca share why she is choosing to be vegan… yes, some of the facts that she shares are not exactly in order of clarity or even fact… but you can see that she has learned enough information about eating animals to give her personal take on the subject. What I do know is that our children are actually quite capable of learning and understanding, if we talk openingly with them. I know as parents we want to shelter our children, but most of the time honest answers and explanation will go a lot further than hiding info from our kids. The best way to start healthy habits is to start early…
