Are you ready to tango?
One of my favorite snacks of all time has to be chips and salsa. I don’t think that I have ever met a salsa that I didn’t love. My daughters have also developed my love of a great salsa, so we are constantly trying to come up with creative new salsa variations.
With out any further ado, I am pleased to introduce our newest salsa recipe video: Mango Tango Salsa!
P.S. I even brought a special party guest to be a part of this week’s recipe.
Mango Tango Salsa
INGREDIENTS:
1 large mango, finely chopped*
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
juice of 1 small lime, optional
jalapeno, diced (optional, to taste)
DIRECTIONS:
Place all ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and enjoy!
*When picking mangoes, choose ones that are soft to the touch. The riper the mango, the sweeter the taste. If you’re mango is not completely ripe, feel free to add a touch of stevia or agave to the salsa.

A few reasons to love mango:
Mango is commonly known as the “king of fruit”. Mango’s are rich in amino acids, vitamin C and E, flavonoids, beta carotene, niacin, calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium.
Mangos aid in digestion: Mangoes contain digestive enzymes that help break down proteins and aid digestion.
Mangos help you to be regular: Due to the high amounts of fiber found in mango, it can be a helpful aid in keeping you regular, thereby helping or preventing constipation. We definitely need to keep the pipes clean people!
For rocking sex: The Vitamin E that is abundantly present in mangos helps to regulate sex hormones and boosts sex drive. Can I get an amen????
I hope you enjoy this new recipe and I would love to hear the creative ways you have decided to use this sassy salsa in your kitchen!
