    1. Hi Kelli! Oh I’m so super happy to do the travel bucket with you! Definitely a plan we must take on soon! Yes, I agree, it is TIME TO SHARE OUR LOVE with the world! =)

  2. Vanessa,
I do the same thing with post cards for myself
or husband! I agree, nothing like a handwritten
    note! Thank you for sharing!
    Best,
    Sondra

    1. Hi Sondra! Handwritten letters and notes are priceless! They are what I call my little things that make a huge difference. Let’s not forget this old-fashioned way of letting people know how much we love them. An I hope we both can pass this practice on to our children and grand children, and great grandchildren! =)

  3. Hi Vanessa:

    Very nice.

Ernie and I enjoyed a wonderful trip to Spain a few months ago and I was surprised when I saw post card racks in some of the shops. I didn’t buy any – but with your encouragement I think I will the next time I travel. We’re going to Mexico next month. Wonder if I’ll find post cards there? *smile*

    1. Hi Denise! Thank you for the love and support! I have always been in love with writing and I hope to spread more and more and more love each time I travel by sending post cards! Take care! =)

  4. Hi Vanessa,

I just received a press release about your new book and came to your site to read more about you. I happened upon this post and what you said about your grandma really touched me. My mother also succumbed to pancreatic cancer(stemming from long-term use of medication for Type 2 Diabetes). As she was a nurse practitioner, I saw this as a sign of her reminding me to change my eating habits so I, hopefully, won’t have to experience any disease due to mistreatment of my body. I’m am definitely going to let my readers know about your book and website.

    1. Hi Lori! I am so grateful for your support and love. Yes, my grandma or as I call her, Memaw, has been a very powerful source of inspiration in my life. Thank you for giving me a chance to touch your life in my own little yet special way. Keep the fire burning in you, Lori. =)

    2. Good morning Lori,
I am so sorry for the late reply but my website for some reason would not allow me to reply to your post- it finally seems to be working again. Thank you so much for sharing your own story about your mother’s struggle with Pancreatic cancer. I cannot even imagine what its like to lose your mother although I must admit my mom has been extremely sick for several years now and its such a painful thing to watch…Especially when the main reason she has been so ill is from living a standard american diet and lifestyle. On a positive note…It’s great when we can take someone else’s pain and use it as a beacon of light in our lives. I am so thrilled that you have found me and I hope that my book The Fire Driven Life helps ignite the fire in you and helps you created more solid healthy habits in your diet and lifestyle.Thank you so much for sharing me , my book, and my life’s mission with your reader’s! Enjoy your day!
