The Path to Love and Happiness
L.O.V.E
Do those 4 letters strike fear in your heart? Do they make you giggly and happy?
Do they bring up past experiences?
No matter your current relationship with love, today is the day that we are going to give you a positive reaction to any and all forms of this most principle emotion. We’re going to talk about loving yourself, loving others and allowing yourself to be loved.
As many of you know, I have had struggles with “love”… As a young girl I decided that I would never find love in unhealthy foods, as my family did. I went on to find self worth in my appearance and my perfectionistic qualities. I always had to be the best, most well put together or else I wasn’t lovable. Later in life I found myself filling my emptiness with, what I knew to be, love and happiness – building a family. Until a few years later when my husband, father of my children, took his own life. How lovable do you think I felt after that? I did not have any foundation built on true self worth, love and happiness, and therefore went crumbling..
I find myself today the happiest, most fulfilled and in love with life, that I have ever been! My new husband, Josh, is the most amazing man.. and it took this journey for me to realize how deserving we are of each other.
This path truly has been a long road of self discovery, brutal honesty and complete change.. and I want to help you do the same!
“You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.” – Buddha
Stay tuned until the end of the episode where the Artichoke Challenge (my loopy, silly, fun, and fantastic way to love life and express yourself) makes a guest appearance with a little Taylor Swift!

This was outstanding….looking forward to next week’s episode!
Happiness is certainly a journey. Vanessa you have shown BY example what it takes to process the baggage we all carry. To keep your head up and keep moving forward. You have been very supportive through some really rough times. Self worth, self confidence, self love,, all starts with what you put IN your body,, you taught me that and I am forever grateful!
Totally agreed Patty! Loving yourself and others from the inside out makes all of the difference in the world. I’m glad that we can both be inspirations to each other 🙂
Beautiful Healthy Hugs,
Vanessa
