Power up with another wonderful smoothie recipe from yours truly- the smoothie queen! The Coconut Blueberry Smoothie is so delicious, definitely an amazing way to start your day and get the healthy fix you crave!

As it gets warmer each day, I delight myself in creating a fabulous thirst/hunger quencher by combining what’s available in my fridge- frozen blueberries and bananas, plus some greens and seeds… and then I wonder, how about some coconut milk? Boom! And so, the Coconut Blueberry Smoothie was born.

This smoothie is super creamy, full of healthy nourishing fats, and it radiates a beautiful tempting color that you cannot resist. Perfect for a pre or after workout meal because all the essential nutrients that will fuel your body are completely taken care of by this superb smoothie! Let me start off with the beneficial components of blueberries…

Coconut Blueberry Smoothie

 Ingredients:

2 cups frozen blue berries

1 frozen banana

1 tablespoon hemp seeds

1 handful of spinach

1 cup coconut milk (the one in carton)

½ cup water

Instructions:

  1. Add the frozen blue berries, frozen banana, hemp seeds, spinach, coconut milk and water to your blender and mix.
  2. Pour into a glass, garnish with blueberries and enjoy!
