Whisk away into a bright and clear day with a lovely salad that has the oh-so-perfect dressing you are longing for- the Tahini Vinaigrette Dressing!
Imagine eating that wonderful fresh salad, only to spoil it with a dressing that’s laden with unhealthy oils with harmful chemicals? Not a beautiful picture right? Now, this dressing is the answer to all salad and any kind of flavoring needs. The Tahini Vinaigrette Dressing is completely plant-based, guaranteed no oil and no dairy. Tahini is one of the most versatile condiments you can ever find because it goes well with everything, from soups to sauces and of course dressings! The imaginative idea of merging tahini and balsamic vinegar is pure genius! These 2 ingredients in fact run a seamless flavor pairing that delivers a taste of its own. The sweet and sour balsamic balances the salty tahini, and since tahini has a moderately rich flavor, it’s an awesome base for an overpowering taste of balsamic! Tahini Vinaigrette Dressing
¼ cup tahini
3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
juice of ½ small lemon (about 1 tablespoon)
zest of 1 small lemon
1 garlic clove, minced
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup water
- Whisk all the ingredients together in a small bowl, except the water.
- Add 1 tablespoon of water at a time to the dressing, until desired consistency is reached.
*** You can now pour the dressing (as little or as much as you can) to any salad you prefer!
